Yesterday’s Bets 👇

I went 2-0-1 on Monday as Labor Day is one of the worst day’s for being a sports betting fan. There is really only MLB going on with the exception in recent years of college football now being included. I did hear some reports yesterday that the NFL might start to take over that weekend with primetime games all weekend long.

$200 ➡️ $200K Challenge Bet: Nolan Arenado Over 1.5 HRR

  • This is the fourth time that I have made it to Level 1.3 and just cannot get past it. Arenado went 0-4 with a lot of line outs to the outfield but just couldn’t get one to drop in for a hit.

Billy McKinney Over 1.5 HRR

  • This was a push as he DNP.

Ty France Over 1.5 HRR

  • The Cincinnati Reds had thirteen hits yesterday and Ty France had four of them going 4-4 and crushing this bet. He had 3 singles and a double with 1 RBI.

Teoscar Hernandez Over 2.5 HRR

  • I would think that it would be very hard to beat a 4-4 game as Ty France had. Hernandez said hold my beer and went 5-5 and was just a HR short of the cycle.

Parlay of the Day: 2+ RBI’s

  • Adley Rutschaman: 2-5, 1 RBI
  • Willy Adames: 1-4, 3 RBI’s
  • Will Smith: 2-5, 2 RBI’s

Day #33 Profit/Loss: + $33.89

What I Learned:

It’s Nice to Have Small Slates: I think those that bet on sports for a living actually enjoy the worst days on the sports calendar. I.e The day of the Home Run Derby is arguably the worst day. Having nothing going on yesterday during the day allowed me, my wife and daughter to enjoy a few walks around the neighborhood. I think you have to relax and take in the world sometimes. It makes for great day!
